About Google Ads Cost

A free toolkit for planning, pricing and measuring paid advertising — real numbers in seconds, with no account and nothing leaving your browser.

What this site is

Google Ads Cost exists to answer one deceptively simple question: what does advertising actually cost — and is my number normal? Marketers, founders, freelancers and agencies all hit that question when setting a budget, pricing a client proposal or sanity-checking a live campaign. Most answers online are either locked behind a lead form or presented with no source at all. We wanted the opposite: instant, free, and honest about where each figure comes from.

The site pairs interactive calculators with a library of published ad-cost benchmarks, so you can both compute your own metrics and compare them against the industry, country or platform you actually operate in.

Who it's for

If you buy, sell or budget for paid media, this is built for you: in-house marketers modelling next quarter's spend, agencies and freelancers pricing retainers, founders validating unit economics before scaling, and students or newcomers learning how PPC costs fit together. No prior expertise is assumed — the glossary explains every metric and formula in plain English.

What we stand for

Free & no sign-up

Every calculator and benchmark page is free to use with no account, email or paywall. You should be able to answer a cost question and get on with your day.

Private by design

All calculators run entirely in your browser. The spend, revenue and budget numbers you type never touch a server — nothing is stored or transmitted.

Sourced & dated

Every benchmark cites its source and the year it reflects. We never invent a fresher vintage than the data actually has.

Graded for trust

Numbers are labelled by authority tier — measured, aggregate or modeled — so you always know how much weight to put on them.

Where the data comes from

Benchmarks are drawn from published industry reports — including the WordStream/LocaliQ 2026 Google Ads benchmark, Unbounce conversion data, and Statista/Semrush country figures — never from anonymous guesses. Each dataset is dated to the year it reflects and graded into one of three authority tiers so you can weigh it accordingly. We explain the full sourcing, tiering and cross-validation process on the data methodology page.

Not financial advice. Everything here is for planning and reference. Real auction prices vary by targeting, quality score, competition and season — always validate against your own account data before committing budget.
